Meagan Bivens – Employee Care ManagerMeagan Bivens has several years experience working within the healthcare and marketing sectors. She has spent her career providing opportunities for home health and staffing professionals through continuous recruitment efforts which makes her well suited for her position as Employee Care Manager of Home Care Assistance of South Florida. Meagan is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where she obtained a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration. She is also a Valdosta State University alumnus where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She brings expertise in healthcare administration, recruiting, organization, and leadership skills to the business. She believes that the guide to living a bold and meaningful life, is to provide genuine and superior service to all mankind. Meagan is originally from Dublin, GA but has resided in Lake Worth with her husband and daughter.
Katharina Mock – Human Resource CoordinatorKatharina Mock is the Human Resources Coordinator here at Home Care Assistance of South Florida. Kat as we affectionately refer to her has a diverse background in Healthcare as well as Human Resources. Kat attended Florida State University as well as Valencia Community College and is fluent in several languages. She resides in Boca Raton with her three children and is originally from Prague, Czech Republic. Kat is a huge FSU/football fan and loves spending time with her children, baking and traveling.
Melanie Nelson – Business Development ManagerMelanie Nelson is the Business Development Manager here at Home Care Assistance of South Florida. Melanie has attended classes at Palm Beach State College in both business and interior design. Melanie brings good communication skills, organizational and creativity to working with the community to establish business relationships. She brings an affectionate personality to our team which is helpful to our clients, caregivers and co-workers. Melanie is a native Floridian and when not at work she enjoys spending time with her son, biking, photography, traveling, meditation and yoga.
Shawn Alvarez – Administrative Assistant
Shawn has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She started her career on the clinical side as a nurse. Over the last 9 years Shawn has moved into the administrative side working closely with staffing, insurance companies and credentialing. Shawn is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. She resides in Deerfield Beach with her husband and two kids. She loves sports, theme parks and traveling.
